Make a bootable USB stick with Balena Etcher

Install Linux
Plug the USB with the Linux Desktop ISO in your mac and restart it.
When you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Option key.
Holding that key gives you access to Mac OS Startup Manager. Once the Startup Manager screen appears, release the Option key. The utility will look for any available drives that include bootable content.
Select the bootable USB with your arrows and press enter
Your Mac will launch the Linux installer
Choose for a minimun instalation and don’t add third party software.
Delete and overwrite all disks
Warning: This will delete all data on your Mac
